Special Interest Groups (SIGs)

Our Special Interest Groups (SIGs) connect you to colleagues who work, or share an interest, in a specific area of higher education. These groups provide a platform for members to exchange ideas, share best practices, and collaborate on issues relevant to their field.

Interested in starting a new SIG?

Before submitting your application, we require you to review the SIG Handbook. The handbook acts as a resource for assisting Special Interest Group Coordinators in establishing, structuring, and running their respective groups. This guidance outlines the essential expectations and tasks that coordinators might engage in and aims to provide coordinators with comprehensive support in navigating the various aspects involved in forming, organising, and managing their groups effectively.

Once you have read both the handbook and guidance document, please complete the SIG application form. Following submission, your application will be subject to review and a member of the team will be in touch following this review.
