Support Coordinator

Location: Based in London on site with occasional working from home

Salary: £38,000 to £43,000 pa plus benefits

In May 2025, The London School of Architecture (The LSA) merged with University of the Built Environment, a leading specialist universityIn this new role you will provide critical operational support to ensure the smooth delivery of The LSA’s academic programmes and safeguard the student experience during this transitional period. We are looking for someone who brings initiative, builds trust quickly, and thrives in an environment where they can take the lead on daily operations while working collaboratively with students, staff and our Practice Network.

At a high level your accountabilities and responsibilities include:

  • Carrying out programme and academic administration, across the full student lifecycle from admissions to graduation.
  • Responding to student queries for support and making arrangements for pastoral care.
  • Supporting the delivery and tracking of student assessments.
  • Maintaining registers and attendance logs, escalating any concerns.
  • Providing studio and teaching environment support including managing the timetable and preparing teaching spaces and all equipment.
  • Troubleshooting equipment issues and liaising with the Technology team where required.
  • Supporting colleagues with events and meetings held at The LSA.

Our main requirements:

  • Degree or equivalent qualification in a related field to architecture or student support.
  • Experience working in higher education or student-facing administrative roles.
  • The ability to be discrete and sensitive when dealing with certain student matters.
  • Strong digital skills including MS Office applications as well as Google Drive, shared calendars, Zoom/Teams, Adobe CS.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage concurrent workflows.
  • Ability to move smoothly between practical studio set-up and desk-based administration.
