What is The Reflection Exchange?
The Reflection Exchange is a collaborative learning forum available exclusively for member, accredited and fellow AHEP members. In each session, we invite members to review and reflect on a different resource, ranging from books, podcasts, event recordings, and articles – all carefully curated with a focus on HE. It’s an opportunity to exchange ideas, deepen understanding, and connect with fellow members who share a passion for advancing knowledge in their field.
How it works:
Hosted online, in each session, we will dive into a new resource, exploring key takeaways and engaging in thoughtful discussion. Each resource will be announced in advance of the session, giving colleagues time sign-up to the session and review and prepare reflections to share with the group.
As The Reflection Exchange grows, we will welcome suggestions from our members for future resources to discuss. Members will also have the opportunity to lead sessions, sharing their insights and expertise with the group and enhancing your professional development. Would you like to lead a Reflection Exchange session? Get in touch with us on hello@ahep.ac.uk to bring your suggestion to life!
When is the first Reflection Exchange session?
The first Reflection Exchange session will take place online, via Microsoft Teams on Tuesday, 29 October 2024 from 13:00-14:00. In this session, we will revisit the 2023 AHEP Annual Lecture, where we delved into the theme of ‘Recognising and Nurturing HE Professionals’. In preparation for the session, we ask you to review the recording and prepare any discussion points or thoughts you would like to share with the group.
We look forward to kickstarting this new initiative and welcoming you to the Reflection Exchange!
