A confident vision for AUA’s 60th anniversary

Chris Ince AUA Chair | Secretary and Registrar, London Metropolitan University
Amanda Oliver AUA Vice-Chair | Director of College Operations, Brunel University

Over the last few months we’ve been keeping you informed of the progress with AUA’s ‘Future HE Professionals‘ project – a collaborative research project to help us understand the needs of HE professional services into the future and to inform the next phase in AUA’s development.

Recently the project website was updated with an array of new resources, including links to project reports alongside discussion prompts to help you engage with the findings in your own role and your local context.

We celebrate our association’s diamond jubilee year in 2021 and we are now ready to share with members a draft strategic vision which the AUA Board of Trustees is putting forward to guide AUA into the future, with our members at the heart of this.

Building on insights from Future HE Professionals, we are presenting a positive and confident vision – equipping our members to thrive in the changing future of higher education and to benefit from the professional and innovative development offering of the AUA.

At the core of our plan are three commitments to members:

• Empowering your career journey
• Improving your professional practice
• Supporting your professional development

Have your say

We encourage you to explore the findings from Future HE Professionals and we also want to invite you to comment by 10 August on our draft vision statement in a very brief (2 questions) online member survey.
