About the Education Administration and Management SIG

This SIG is designed for staff who are responsible for and interested in the work which goes on to support delivery of all types of education in our institutions, up to and including senior level managers who are interested in the development and strategic operation of education portfolios.

The purpose of the SIG is to open up dialogues around this very specific area of work, to surface issues which might benefit from collective solutions, and to reinforce the specialist professional skills required to effectively deliver excellent learning and teaching outcomes.

About the event

Join us at our first online event for this brand new SIG! Aimed at members who have an interest in the administration and management of education programmes of all sizes, shapes and flavours, this first session will introduce the SIG, give you a chance to hear about the future direction of the group, and then participate in a discussion session in breakout room focused on finding out more about what ‘good’ education delivery looks like to you, in your context or experience. As well as a chance to meet your fellow SIG members, we hope to capture some of the key themes and areas of focus that members have on their agendas (now and in the future) to help shape events and activities for the SIG.

The event will be hosted on Microsoft Teams. Attendees should come with the expectation of participating in the discussion, though people new to the area of work are welcome to just listen and learn! Facilitators will make notes to share afterwards.

The event is scheduled over lunchtime so please feel free to join in with your sandwich!

We look forward to welcoming you to this event.
