Sally Lewis appointed South Wales and South West Deputy Network Coordinator

Sally Lewis has been appointed the new Deputy Network Coordinator for the South Wales and South West. We asked Sally to share a little bit about herself.

Sally’s background

I have worked in HE administration at the University of Bath for over 20 years managing people, resources and research funding. My current role – in the Faculty of Science Placements Team – includes student-facing work supporting our yearlong placement programmes.

The AUA has had a big impact on my professional life – I’ve developed a greater understanding of my own institution from attending local talks and building up a network of friendly and supportive colleagues. I’ve gained knowledge of the wider HE sector from attending the annual conferences, events and studying for the PG Cert.

I’m looking forward to working with Melissa and the team to support and develop the great work that the AUA does in the South West!
