About Jack

Jack is the joint Chief Executive Officer and co-founder at Agar Management Consultancy having previously held operational and strategic HR roles, most recently in the NHS, before co-founding Agar in 2015. He holds a BA and MA in Human Resource Management. Within Agar Jack leads on HR, IT, non-client events, open courses, marketing and business development. His drive is to support Agar in becoming a trusted brand with organisations up and down the country, making a difference with the work we deliver and helping people’s working lives to be more rewarding.

Ben has worked in both operational and learning and development (L & D) roles for more than 25 years – in industries spanning manufacturing, banking, mortgages, investments, insurance, healthcare, energy and utilities. He is qualified in and continues to study psychology and makes use of his accreditations in Insights Discovery, DISC, SDI, Hogan and NLP. He is an accredited member of the European Mentoring and Coaching Council and works as an executive coach.

Clients describe Ben as perceptive and empathetic with others and able to present things clearly in a way that really engages and generates curiosity and awareness. He can facilitate and motivate others to unlock a logical, practical plan for their development. He has the ability to flex his style, be compassionately ruthless and annoyingly provocative when needed.

With a keen interest in sports psychology he can explore the psychology that enables elite athletes to be successful and translate that to the corporate world.

Ben specialises in authentic centred leadership helping leaders create personal connections to organisational visions and values – enabling them to tell their story to the people in their business – authentically, with impact and purpose.

Jenny Jenkin is a trusted higher education leader and ICF accredited coach and team facilitator with over three decades of experience in strategic leadership, governance, and enhancing staff and student experiences. Her career spans a range of institutions, most recently as Secretary and Registrar at London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and previously at Universities such as Bedfordshire, and City. Jenny specialises in cultural and organisational change, improving operational efficiency, and she is a champion of equity, diversity, and inclusion initiatives. She has also contributed to sector-wide initiatives as a member of various national committees and taskforces.
