At our Annual General Meeting in September, the membership voiced support for a thorough governance review. We are seeking AHEP members with experience in Governance to play a key role in supporting this process.

The constitution was last reviewed in 2019 and a fresh look at our governance structures is warranted to ensure their ongoing relevance. The review will centre on our constitution, the linchpin of our governance, with the intent of establishing a constitution that provides clarity on several key facets. As part of this project, we will also develop a set of Governance Principles, which will elucidate our commitment to maintaining the effectiveness of our professional, member-led association.

Rachel Hill-Kelly, Honorary Secretary will be leading this review process, alongside Colin Ferguson, Executive Director of AHEP. We are seeking those with governance expertise from within our membership to actively contribute to the review and the development of any revised governance arrangements.

Benefits:

– Professional growth and skill development

– Influence and impact beyond your institution

– Contribute to the development of AHEP

Responsibilities:
