LGBTQ+ History Month

The AUA proudly supports and celebrates the LGBTQ+ community.

We celebrate and value the diversity of our higher education community and recognise the invaluable contribution that every individual brings. We are committed to actively championing an inclusive professional culture, where equality and diversity is promoted and valued, and the rights and dignity of all are respected.

February is LGBT+ History Month, and this year, the theme is ‘#BehindTheLens‘ and it celebrates LGBT+ peoples’ contribution to cinema and film from behind the lens. LGBT+ History Month is an opportunity to reflect on how far we’ve come in higher education and how we can renew our efforts to create a more equal higher education experience for LGBT people.

Understanding and enhancing the LGBTQ+ staff and student experience

Organisations
