About this session
This workshop series will take place over three online webinar sessions and will equip you with the necessary information, resources, and know-how to improve your approach to writing and updating your CV, doing job interviews and building your personal brand.
Why attend?
For many people, interviews can be daunting. And yet with effective preparation, you may find that you enjoy the experience- or at least find it less nerve-wracking.
This session will explore how to prepare for interviews. We’ll cover the different kinds of interview question you may be asked. You’ll discover how to predict many of the questions you’re likely to be asked – and how to respond to them.
We will look at how to convey your motivation- why you want the job. We’ll cover how you can demonstrate that your skills and experiences are what the recruiter is looking for. We’ll consider what questions you might ask the panel. We will also explore the role of Chat GPT in helping you to preparing for the interview.
What you will do:
In this 75 minute webinar, delegates will hear from an experienced careers professional who will share advice and practical tips to help you prepare for that next job interview. There will be an opportunity to ask the facilitator questions and share advice and tips with peers in the group.
Learning Outcomes
By the end of the workshop, participants will be able to:
1. Prepare effectively for job interviews
2. Recognise different types of interview questions and understand how to approach them.
3. Identify techniques for being a memorable candidate for the right reasons
