About this session
This webinar introduces the transformative potential of Generative AI for professional services staff in Higher Education (HE). It explores how Generative AI is redefining workflows, improving efficiency, and enabling staff to achieve more impactful outcomes.
Why attend?
This session is designed to inspire and inform, offering a clear understanding of how Generative AI can enhance the work of professional services staff. A Q&A session at the end will provide an opportunity to explore ideas further.
By exploring the evolution of professional services practices, past, present, and future, this session will inspire attendees to think critically about how Generative AI can be responsibly adopted to support their work, address challenges, and improve outcomes across the sector.
What you will do:
We’ll start with a brief introduction to Generative AI and its relevance in HE. From there, we’ll reflect on the past, when professional services relied on manual processes and faced challenges like inefficiencies, limited personalisation, and high administrative workloads.
The session then moves to the present, where Generative AI is beginning to streamline tasks, enhance workflows, and support innovation. We’ll highlight how these tools are creating new possibilities for professional services staff without diving into technical details.
Finally, we’ll look to the future of Generative AI in HE, focusing on the potential for deeper integration into professional workflows. Ethical considerations and practical applications will also be touched upon, providing a balanced view of what lies ahead.
