Lead Consultant

Having worked in schools and sixth forms, Further Education colleges, and Higher Education institutions, Tegan offers a unique, cross-sector perspective grounded in deep operational expertise.

Her areas of specialism include registry and professional services operations, process streamlining, policy development and compliance, HE in FE provision, and all aspects of student casework. Tegan is the founder of Skill Solutions, an independent training and consultancy service dedicated to helping institutions navigate complex policy and student casework challenges with clarity and confidence.

Tegan is particularly passionate about supporting institutions to tackle one of the sector’s most urgent challenges: financial sustainability. She works with teams to identify resource-efficient, compliant, and student-centred approaches to policy and casework operations — helping institutions deliver an outstanding student experience without compromising on accountability or inclusion.

Her work also includes training managers, investigators, chairs, and panel members involved in campus safety, risk management, and disciplinary procedures. With a focus on creating safe, inclusive, and inspiring environments, Tegan is committed to supporting institutions as they adapt to the changing needs of increasingly diverse and complex student populations.
