This award is an opportunity to recognise a specific SIG that has shown exceptional initiative, collaboration, and contribution to advancing knowledge, sharing best practices, and fostering a sense of community within their area of focus.

This award recognises a regional network that has successfully engaged members, facilitated valuable connections, and delivered quality initiatives that have significantly contributed to the regional community and strengthened the presence and influence of AHEP at the regional level. 

This award honours the exceptional contributions of an individual member who has demonstrated an outstanding level of commitment and dedication to AHEP. The judges will be seeking someone who has gone above and beyond in their efforts; whether by serving as an ambassador or network coordinator who consistently goes the extra mile to assist others, a member who has significantly raised the profile of AHEP through their work or a mentor who has provided invaluable support and guidance through the AHEP mentoring scheme. 

This could also be a member who has effectively utilized or adapted AHEP’s Professional Framework, along with its associated resources, to support their own career development as well as the growth and advancement of their peers. The award celebrates those who embody the spirit of AHEP, making a meaningful impact within our community and beyond. 

The lifetime achievement award is AHEP’s chance to say a huge thank you to a longstanding, dedicated member whose sustained a significant contribution to the development and leadership of AHEP as well as helping advance professionalism and promote excellence across the HE sector throughout their career.
