Anna Verhamme

Anna Verhamme worked for 20 years in a variety of roles at the Universities of Exeter and Cardiff, before becoming self-employed in 2019.  As a Professional Services member of staff, Anna has worked as a leader of University-wide specialist functions and of Academic Departments. She has been Director of Strategic Planning and Governance at Cardiff University, where she supported the governing body and the executive leadership team.

Anna has been College Registrar of the College of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences at Cardiff and College Registrar of the University of Exeter Business School. In both roles Anna worked in partnership with academic leaders to develop the University’s core activities of teaching and research. Two common themes in Anna’s work have been change and collaboration and she is now carrying that on working in a self-employed capacity with HE institutions. Since 2019 Anna has work with 14 diverse institutions and authored an Investigative study into the diversity higher education delivery models in Wales for HEFCW.
