Tim brings extensive experience in higher education, having worked in a variety of registry and planning roles across six different higher education institutions (HEIs). His deep knowledge of the sector is further enhanced by a three-year tenure as a Policy Adviser for Universities UK (UUK), where he contributed to shaping national policy. In 2015, Tim transitioned to freelance work, initially as an interim manager and consultant, before fully dedicating himself to consultancy in 2017. His consultancy practice spans a broad array of specialist areas, reflecting the diversity of his skills and expertise.

He has successfully led initiatives in student systems and database management, optimising administrative processes, and enhancing data management frameworks. His work in admissions has helped institutions streamline their processes and improve decision-making, while his experience with performance metrics and reporting ensures that institutions can effectively measure and evaluate their operations.

Tim’s expertise also extends to managing complex student disputes, where he has developed robust resolution processes, and advising on academic governance to help institutions meet regulatory requirements and uphold academic standards. With his comprehensive experience across these areas, Tim is well-equipped to deliver high-quality consultancy services to the higher education sector.
