Education Administration and Management SIG
About the Education Administration and Management SIG
This SIG is designed for staff who are responsible for and interested in the work which goes on to support delivery of all types of education in our institutions, up to and including senior level managers who are interested in the development and strategic operation of education portfolios.
Education covers a huge variety of teaching and learning activities taking place in HEIs and associated organisations, from the very earliest stages of engagement with HE, through to Undergraduate and Postgraduate credit-bearing teaching, to executive education, Continuing Professional Development and other more modular forms of learning.
The purpose of the SIG is to open up dialogues around this very specific area of work, to surface issues which might benefit from collective solutions, and to reinforce the specialist professional skills required to effectively deliver excellent learning and teaching outcomes.
What can you expect from the Education Administration and Management SIG?
– A supportive network for those developing and building their knowledge and skills in education administration and management
– A forum to open up dialogues around this very specific area of work, discuss challenges and offer collective solutions, and to celebrate the specialist professional skills of SIG members
