About the role
The Director of Student & Academic Services and Academic Registrar will play a critical role in the university’s senior leadership team. Reporting to the Pro Warden (Education & Student Experience), the successful candidate will lead a large and varied portfolio, supporting the student journey from admissions through to graduation. This role is integral to ensuring an outstanding student experience, shaping services that meet the evolving needs of our students and align with Goldsmiths’ Education Strategy.
You will oversee key student services areas including Student Support Services, Admissions, Registry Operations, and Careers & Employability. You will drive forward initiatives that enhance student success, personal development, and employability, fostering a supportive and inclusive environment in collaboration with students, faculties, and the Goldsmiths Students’ Union.
About you: You will have a proven track record of leadership in a student-focused, highly regulated environment, with extensive experience in managing complex teams and driving organisational change. A deep understanding of higher education policies and regulations, especially OfS requirements, is essential. You will bring a data-driven approach to the design of innovative services that enhance the student experience and deliver value for money. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
